What technology does Quantact use?

Quantact VDS use the XEN hypervisor technology, as well as the OpenVZ technology. Xen has proven to be stable, efficient, and scalable Virtual Dedicated Server solution. Xen's performance is excellent,
and is close to native in many situations.
OpenVZ offers a shared kernel experience, without some of the advanced virtualization features of Xen. Both technologies provide root access on your own virtual machine.

What does my Quantact VDS come with?

Your Quantact VDS comes with a base plan of RAM, Disk, Bandwidth, and a Static IP Address.
All of our Linux distros include a package installer, such as Yum/Apt/Slapt-get/emerge/etc. Hard disks are mirrored in a Raid 1 array, so you are protected from a disk error.
Your VDS is guaranteed your share of RAM, DISK, Bandwidth, and your CPU is burstable.

How do I control my VDS?

Quantact members use our Quantact Control Panel (QCP) to control their VDS. Booting and Halting are accomplished here, as well as Operating System installs, and Snapshot backups.

I need support, what do I do?

What can I use my VDS for?

Quantact does not allow pornography, unlicensed use of copyrighted materials, or illegal activities.

How will I be billed for my server?

Billing occurs on the 1st day of the month.
All new accounts will be prorated for the remaining days in a month.
Invoices will be emailed out when billing occurs.

Do you accept PAYPAL?

Yes, we accept paypal as a method of billing.
However, for identity verification purposes, your first month of billing will require a credit card.
Your paypal must come from an email listed in the support portal as a primary contact for your account.

How do I upgrade/add/cancel my account??

To make changes or cancel your account, please open a help ticket in the support portal.
The request must come from an email listed in the support portal as a primary contact for your account.

How do I see how much ram my OpenVZ account is using?
